Run your pub your way

Running one of our pubs is a big challenge. But while your experience will mean you know the operational side of things inside out, that's not all we're looking for. We want people with a real entrepreneurial flair who can drive sales. People who can get to the bottom of what their customers want and make sure they get it. So your head full of innovative ideas and way with people is ever bit as important as your industry know how.

In short, you'll need:

  • To have successfully managed a pub or hotel that has delivered a minimum of 5K a week sales.
  • For our food related businesses you will need to have successfully managed a business that has delivered a 30% split for food and 70% for liquor.
  • To have managed a team of at least five people.
  • To possess a Personal Licence Holder qualification.
  • The interpersonal skills to win over your team and your customers.
  • The commercial nous and imagination to create your customers' perfect pub.
  • Outstanding retailing and marketing skills to make your business the best it can be.
  • A commitment to nurturing your team's talents.
  • Cracking organisation and planning skills.
  • A long term focus on key business development opportunities.
  • The ability to interpret and manage your Profit & Loss account.
