Despite only taking over as managers of the pub in January 2005, Peter and Diane Fryar have managed to turn the site's fortunes around. They concentrated heavily on the food side of the business and by the time the site was developed later that year food sales were up 400%. After the development these figures continued to grow.
Peter and Diane have achieved these results by consistently offering great food, complemented by fabulous service, all with their own personal touch. The Royal Oak has zero complaints on its record since Peter and Diane took over - a huge achievement and one that the whole team deserves to be proud of.
