“My development has started, my Business Development Manager is being very supportive, we are following the structured plan. I’ve designed a project for our area that involves the Assistant Managers. We are having an assistants area meeting at the end of March. The project will benefit me, the assistants, their pub and the area.” Steve, Retail Manager, The Horsforth, Leeds.
“It’s great to be a part of someone’s development and to help them achieve their goals.” Erica , Trainer Manager , Copa , Cheltenham
“The Rising Stars programme was fantastic, I had been in a food led pub for a while, it wasn’t really me, I joined Local Pubs as an Assistant Manager and within six weeks had been interviewed for the Rising Star programme and appointed to my first pub as House Manager. I really enjoyed the Rising Star days as it gave me the opportunity to network with some of the Operations Directors which will help me progress my career with Greene King in the future.” Philip Veneables, Manager, Red Hart
“My aim is to get my own pub one day and Greene King has given me the skills to get me on the right route.” Dan, Retail Assistant Manager, Copa , Cheltenham
